Site Walk for DFS Consultancy
The Design for Safety Regulation requires a Design Safety and Fire Professional (DSFP) to be appointed by the developer for construction projects of over $10 million. The purpose of this requirement is to identify and mitigate design risks through collective protective measures. The DSFP conducts site walks with designers and consultants to understand the designs and provide advice to the developer on risk reduction. Safety review meetings are held after each walkthrough to assess progress towards eliminating or reducing risks.
